New to The Red Pill?

Dissecting The Red Pill

There is a great torrent of bigotry and misinformation surrounding the nature of red pill philosophy. Some of the negativity stemming from such bigotry is of course the device of close-minded, frightened fanatics; people who cling to outdated and destructive ideological philosophies such as feminism. Others are simply lost, and need a conceptual starting point.

If you have heard about the red pill, don’t know what it is, but seek to understand it; I present you with unadulterated essays which cover the basics of what the philosophy (or should I say praxeology?) represents at the most rudimentary level. There’s no media spin or confusion, just forthright dissemination of what the red pill stands for from one of its adherents.

If you want to introduce someone to the red pill, or answer some of the more basic questions surrounding it, these articles should serve as great introductory material. Once you’re done here if you’re interested in what you’ve read, you can dig deeper and pore over the archives.

  1. This site explained my personality and life philosophies so well. Glad there is finally an intelligent blog I can read instead of killing my brain cells on twitter. I also am an aspiring writer and social theorist so if you read this I’d love to hear any advice or suggestions on how to enter the field. My twitter name is thatjaylen recently followed, keep up the good work man!

    1. “How I got started” was by sharing my views on the red pill forum. I’d do a lot of reading and thinking, and whenever I thought I had some kind of “eureka” moment, or had “worked something out.” I’d make a post. When I found my posts becoming popular, I started this blog and begun compiling my views into essays for publication. Over time I’ve worked on improving my writing so it’s more coherent. It’s been roughly 2 years since I begun. Welcome to the site, glad you’re enjoying it.

      1. Ludwig von Mises of the Austrian School of Economics coined the phrase “praxeology.” The word is maybe 100 years old and is definitely not widely used or in your standard dictionary. Therefore, even if it wasn’t you, I’m inclined to think that some proponents of the “red pill” are in fact also adherents of Austrian Economics.

  2. I’m not sure I agree with you, but the writing is strong and therefore the arguments are strong.
Yes, use of language and rhetoric can swing an argument and I appreciate the effort. Continue to provide good writing and I’ll at least entertain your philosophies, though I may or may not believe them to be true.

  3. Okay, I understand why these texts appeals to many people. They have an intellectual tone, and initially promise logically sound arguments. What follows, does not in any way have much to do with logic. Not even mentioning the complete absence of any empirical, statistical data in parts that are clearly inductive. I don’t have the time to explain every deductive fallacy, so I’ll leave you with this: read what actual, scientifical logic is, predicate logic will suffice. Then study all the classic fallacies, as there are many of them in these essays. And if you have the time, read a real scientific paper, there are many texts that deal with topics simular to this one, but don’t fail to pay attention to the basic laws of logic and science. For deeper understanding, I’d recommend some Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, and basic moral Philosophy in the fields of Contractualism, Egoism, and to probably contradict some of your views, with good arguments that might make you think, utilitarianism and maybe some Kant too. Have fun, and don’t take the Arguments presented here, or anywhere for that matter, without a massive dose of criticism.
And please keep in mind that English is not my first language, when you start ranting. I’m out.
